Base Tips and Tricks!
Here are some useful (and not very useful but fun) base tips or tricks that you can do in SCP-3008.
- if you get a coffee table and adjust it for a window, you have an Employee lookout.
- to see better in the window, put a light outside, or above the coffee table.
- you can use the bunk bed plot to make a small 2-person base, but if you stack 8 bunk beds, 4 for each side, and a table for a floor after every bunk bed, you'll have a 4-story base, if you follow the directions correctly.
- bunk beds can also be useful for food shelves.
- you can make a crouch space entrance in your base (but make it small enough so short employees or Ben can't get in.)
- if it's a Blood Night, then use a rug or two to cover up a coffee table if you don't like Employees constant…

SCP-3008 Hardcore Survival: I/Bases
There are thousands of varies of bases and the base building is up to the plot, the most varies of bases are mostly skybases in the pillar D4. Some bases were built with a dangerous and secure entrance to prevent employees from coming in, the server's bases may have a 100% player-built uglyburger0 shrine or a big signal tower made with Really Long Ladders.

Pillar D4 (plot)
D4 known as Pillar D4, Världscentrum or Aisle D4 is a pillar plot that is the center of the 3008 map, as in the article, Map Layout it has a whole map of the experience and the center of the map was D4 this makes the D4 aisle/pillar the center of the map
Pillar D4 spawns at the center of the map, there will mostly be a cafeteria nearby the pillar. The most efficient way to find it is using the Explode Tool in the Toolgun to explode yourself in private servers (Moderator and up), a quick TIP: Don't explode yourself too hard until you bounce off the map.
There is a 100% chance of finding it, due to it spawning in every single server.

- "Världscentrum" means "World Center" in Swedish.
Base Building
In SCP-3008 you need to build bases to survive. Here is some advice about building bases.
Simple Bases
When building bases, try building using materials near you to build as quick as you can. This is recommended if you spawn in the middle of a night which is best to avoid Employees.
Shelf Bases
It is good to build on Industrial Shelves with the materials such as Pallets and ladders. But, it is advised to remove the ladders during night due to the fact employees can climb them. Building on Industrial Shelves may also protect you from attacks from King.
Pillar Bases
Pillar bases are mostly used as skybases. Some even build a Stairway to Heaven (More like: Stairway to the Ceiling). Pillar bases are easy to defend as you can push the Employees over …

As you all know that you can't survive without shelter. So you should build some shelters and stay in there to protect yourself from the employees during the night. And the shelter that you build might not be safe enough.

Adopting the Wiki
Just letting everyone know that I'm planning to adopt the wiki. I was originally planning to have a Content Mod promotion instead but this Wiki seems to be bugged and I was unable to be promoted by S0mE0nE13948 (The only Admin I'm in contact with), and I also tried contacting the current head of the Wiki, ArsonGamer, and thother admins through Discord, but to no avail.
Regardless to all of this, The least thing you can expect from me as the head of the wiki are major changes with the Theme design, and Standard page layouts. I also plan to hosts Building contests in the future so keep an eye on that!

How to make a working door
This is how to make a working door in scp-3008, the infinte ikea. It may sound impossible, but it isnt.
First you need 12 pallets. Use 6 of them to build the walls and the roof.(You could use somehing else, e.g. queen beds, with the covers facing outwards, and not inwards, then it wouldnt work properly.) It will have to be a 2x1 rectangle, with the exit and entrance to your base being the holes in the rectangle. Make sure that the pallets are tall for the walls and the door. You do not have to, but i reccomend it. For the people who need a guide of how to do this, this is how you do it.

The airlock defence

I have personally found this defense extremely effective! Now, have you ever had a problem about not knowing to use a crouch or a sideways door to why not use both? That is essentially what the airlock defense is, either a crouch then sideways or a sideways then a crouch, you could even use a ladder! whilst there is an extremely rare chance an SCP-3008-2 (aka staff/worker/employees) will be short enough and skinny enough to get through both although you can just put a something to block it up. You can also easily get in in a pinch unlike some doors which are secure but take a long time to get into. With this door you can have a nearly 100% safe door whilst still being able to quickly get into a pace which is safe from most enemies.

Challenges are goals players set themselves to accomplish, these goals and are normally hard to get or involve others help

Build a base, This is the simplest challenge as it is something needed to stay safe at night and the main goal of most players, as long as the base can support many people (in size) and cannot be invaded by workers easily
Survive a Blood Moon, this is a slightly harder challenge but can be completed. Best done by staying in a base, but it is possible to not die once outside
Survive a Foggy Day, not as hard as a Blood Moon but due to being hard to tell sometimes you can get caught off guard and get killed

Building Guide
Bases are vital in SCP-3008, providing protection, safety from unkind people, a place to store items and, if you choose, something that generally looks good. Here is a guide to building.
Day 1 of building:
Start of collecting supplies and making a panic room. If you have time, grab some food and store it. This will make nights way easier
Day 2 of building
Use the supplies you collected to start expanding with walls. How big, is up to you. Make sure to add a doorway that can be blocked. Collect some food after. Once night falls, block off your door
Day 3 of building
Time to make a food room. Collect supplies and food, surround the food room with walls and a door (no blocking needed). You now have utilities and a panic room

Hey guys, I'd like to know your thoughts on what might come in 2.5.
I'm sure the game would change a lot, and there would be many great things, like uglyburger0 said. Maybe there will be a saving feature in 2.5? If there ever is a saving feature, it should save whatever you placed around you, or, a.k.a, your base. The saving feature shouldn't save other players' builds of course. Why would it anyway? And the thought of a rope feature, could be cool. Also apparently in uglyburger0's inventory, he seems to be working on a 'SCP-3008 Sign', maybe this will come in 2.5? Maybe even actually adding weapons instead of just a plain crowbar that does nothing? Again, please send me what you think will come or what to expect.

Recommended set up of pages
The set up has been very controversal in the wiki, even having a poll about it. It seems that everyone has their own thoughts about it. What I think should happen is have one page have a list of all the items, then having links to bring you to smaller pages explaining all the small things about the items. Basically, I'd like to have both the big pages and the small pages. Why'd I create a blog post for this? Well, the poll didn't have a "Both" option, that's all. Adoption of the wiki
Ok, guys, we need to revive this wiki. It's dead rn, but there is an adoption request that can be made to Fandom that makes it so that people can place the ownership under someone else. The admins (i believe) have made no serious contributions and the wiki is an anarchy.
What the adoption will do is let the community "adopt" the wiki and place it under new ownership. If we have some approval from the community, it could become active again. Most edits on here are just joke edits that contribute nothing to the wiki. It's a wiki about Roblox's SCP-3008, which has over 13 million visits since its recent opening in the beginning of 2019. And with the next update coming in a month or two, people will want to know things. We can help with that!
